trial accounts and in-game mail
hi
 after being pested by sean i'm using a 10 day trial of wow to see if i like it and all that, but it says that i have "unread mail" - but whenever i go to mail box theres nothing in there? i've searched google and all that, i just assume its because i'm not playing the full version why i cant retrieve the mail? thanks

That could be why. I know those who have trial accounts can't trade or anything, so that would explain it. Although I'm not 100% sure. No point getting bothered about it too much though, as it's most likely spam unless you have made friends on there already.
Also, did you sign up using a game key given by your friend? If you did, and if you subscribe, you'd both get benefits. (The bit highlighted in red may apply to you) Quote:

1. yes i have friends on there, three brilliant ones actually
 2. yes i did sign up using a game key given to me by a friend.

Trial accounts are dire. The restrictions they put them would make me not want to play if i started playing recently.
You can't whisper anyone unless you're on their friends list. You can't invite people to your group. Etc, etc. It's a joke.

War******** is my main class, you chose well! Though you don't strike me as an 'eradicate all life and summon demons!!' kind of person but it doesn't matter! Once you can summon a Voidwalker (blue blob demon that gets hit for you) it all gets a lot easier.
Well, at least you're not a gnome. Human isn't as good as undead, but gnome is worse than everything.

There not that bad really. I Played a 10 day trial account and i never realised you could only whisper people on your friends list, and only getting to level 20 seems really low now but on my first ever character it took me AGES to get to level 20. Was good to enough to make me buy the game anyway so i guess it worked. I'm trying to get my aunt or cousins to join world of warcraft but they're all too busy playing a crappy free MMORPG from like 7 years ago. World of warcraft is SO much better and i want triple exp .
