Default Tuition Fees - How are you guys getting by?

Just curious, but how do you guys pay for your university tuition fees? I know that the average Canadian graduate ends up with a debt of over 30,000 dollars in tuition fees for those who choose to take out loans.

I myself am lucky enough to have my parents pay for me, but i still pay for transportation and my books which alone are almost a thousand dollars per 2 semesters. I have a couple of friends though who are managing to pay off their tuition fees on their own by working a lot while going to school at the same time, pretty phenominal how they can juggle both.

Through the magic of student loans with low interest rates. I may still be in debt, but I have a lot of money from savings just sitting there.

In Scotland we don't pay any tuition fees for normal uni courses, paid for us.

Student loan.

If I end up studying in the USA, I have no idea. Maybe military loan.

It'll probably be a student loan when I get there, plus any bursaries/scholarships i can get my hands on. If i don't find any i'll probably apply for an MOD one.

pretty much every student here in the UK pays for their tution fees through student loans, unless your parents pay it for you

yeah, i was mainly reffering to the majority though, who do either pay for it via student loan or from their parents.

Sent my SAAS (Student Awards Agency) application last night, who will be covering my tuition fees. Fingers crossed for a decent income assessed livings cost loan which will be going straight into my savings account. *cha-ching*

SAAS pay for my tuition fees, and I'm getting £2400 off them in a loan which I'll probably just chuck into my ISA, since I have a job anyway.

Also expect at least £800 back in travel expenses, come January.

Student loans and grants. My parents paid for most books and room stuff.

I hadn't even thought about books for second semester, thanks Nadia lol.

$24,900 student loan, $50,016 in interest. ONE YEAR!

Multiply that by FIVE!
